Who this covers
Quiett is an iOS app from Ross Duris. This policy covers the app and the site at https://quiett.app. Questions go to hello@quiett.app. The same address is linked from the app.
What the app is
Quiett is a morning app. An alarm rings. The front camera checks that you are upright, still, in enough light, and facing the phone. The alarm then fades into about two minutes of tones and ambient sound. The app keeps a streak and a wake-up intention.
Camera
The morning check uses the front camera. Frames are processed on the iPhone with Apple Vision. They are not uploaded. Quiett does not send camera images to us, and it does not send them to an analytics service. The camera is for that check only.
If the app takes a still frame to finish the check, that frame stays on the device for the check. It is not uploaded.
Motion
The app reads the phone motion sensors to tell whether the phone is propped up. Those readings stay on the device. They are not uploaded.
What stays on your phone
Morning settings are stored on the device. That includes the alarm time and days, the sounds you pick, your streak, which mornings you finished, your wake-up intention, and reminders you turn on. A name or photo you add in the app is stored on the device as well.
Camera frames and motion readings are not part of the account. They stay on the phone and are not uploaded. Deleting the app removes the copy stored only on the device.
Accounts
Signing in is optional. You can use Sign in with Apple from Profile. It is the only way to sign in.
If you sign in, your account is stored with Supabase, the service that runs Quiett sign-in. It holds an account id, the email address Apple shares with us, and your name if you let Apple share it. If you choose Hide My Email, that address is a private relay address from Apple.
Signing in keeps your subscription linked to your account. Nothing else syncs to the account. Your streak, mornings, and settings stay on the phone.
RevenueCat keeps your subscription status. That status is tied to an anonymous id, or to your account id if you sign in.
You can delete your account in the app: open Profile and tap Delete account. That deletes the account and its profile data in Supabase right away. You can also email hello@quiett.app and ask us to delete it. Signing out does not delete the account. Deleting the account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel that in iPhone Settings.
Purchases
Subscriptions are billed by Apple through your Apple ID. Quiett does not receive your payment card number or other card details.
The app uses RevenueCat to tell whether an Apple subscription is active. That check is about purchase status from Apple. It is not your card data. Manage or cancel a subscription in iPhone Settings. Apple's privacy policy covers how Apple handles the payment.
Alarms and notifications
Quiett asks for permission to schedule the alarm and any reminders you turn on. You can change that permission in iOS Settings. If the system blocks alerts, the alarm cannot ring as intended.
Analytics, ads, and selling data
Quiett does not use third-party analytics or crash reporting. We do not use advertising networks. We do not sell personal information.
This website
quiett.app is a marketing site. It does not sign you in. Signing in to the app is optional. If you email hello@quiett.app, we receive what you send and use it to reply. Please do not send camera images of your face.
Children
Quiett is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
